Van Vorst Park

Van Vorst Park is the heart of the downtown Jersey City neighborhood and historic district. They have an excellent playground for kids with swings and a sprinkler area to enjoy in the summer, which will be open daily from 9am-7pm.

 

Newport Green

700 Washington Boulevard, Jersey City, NJ

This updated location has a fun sprinkler area, but it also has a large and modern playground complete with something for kids of all ages. This park also has a small carousel that’s a huge hit with the younger kids. The best part- it has a small sandy beach with umbrellas to make you feel like you are down the shore.

 

Hamilton Park

25 West Hamilton Place, Jersey City, NJ

This park is on the smaller size but it does have the best sprinklers and splash pad. The splash pad is fenced in, and features in-ground sprinklers and buckets of water dropped from overhead. It also has a large playground, tennis courts, dog runs, a basketball court, and lots of grass on which to play. Opens at 7am- 10pm.

 

Bayside Park

Garfield Ave & Bayside Park Dr, Jersey City, NJ 

They have a sprinkler park, playground, basketball court, and more.  The weekdays are the best times to go as it is a bit quieter. The splash pad is open from 11 am-7 pm.

 

 

Madison Park

Located on Madison Street and 3rd Street, Hoboken, NJ

The park is bright and colorful in the summer. It also has a great splash area. It includes a playground with equipment for both younger and older children to enjoy. Opens at 8am till dusk through Labor Day.

 

Columbus Park

825 Adams Street, Hoboken, NJ

This park has beautiful playgrounds and brand-new splash pads. There are a lot of green areas, basketball courts, and more!

 

Pier A Park

100 Sinatra Drive , Hoboken, NJ

Pier A Park is a stunning waterfront property that offers a great opportunity to enjoy some of the best views of the Manhattan skyline. They have amazing tennis courts, or you can take a dip in the refreshing waters of the Hudson River from the park’s designated swimming area. Pier A Park is considered one of the top urban parks in the nation.

 

Laurel Hill Kids Park

Laurel Hill Park, Laurel Hill Rd, Secaucus, NJ

Hudson County’s newest remodeled playground. The aquatic playground is a brand-new wetland themed splashpad! The playground is built to look like pirate ships and castles with rope bridges and many slides. Open 5am- 10pm.
