I have 2 children, ages 3 and 2 .
How long have you lived in Hudson County? What made you decide to live here?
I was born and raised in Hudson County, and now a North Bergen resident.
What’s your favorite family activity Hudson?
There’s so many beautiful parks and hiking trails around us. We try to visit them all, but currently Mill Creek Marsh Trail and Story-time at the library are my kids’ favorite activities.
Where’s your favorite place to eat and/or shop in your town?
The Chicas Bakery in North Bergen has the best breakfast goodies. River Road shops are always a great go-to for shopping.
What’s one thing people would be surprised to know about you? Most people are shocked to find out?
I’m mixe
d Half Peruvian and Half Cuban. No one believes the Cuban part.
What are you doing to stay sane during Covid for yourself?
I read a lot of books, and have delved deeper into baking, plus lots of coffee.
Any tips or recommendations for parents to entertain/educate their children during this time?
Enjoy being a kid with them, there is no time like the present, if they want to build a fort and play pirates, or pretend to be zombies, just go for it. Kids value time with you more than gifts, those are the things they will remember when they are older.

How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?
Becoming a parent and learning through kids activities and mom groups how much these towns have to offer made me realize how fortunate, and beautifully diverse our communities are.
